Morocco Launches National HIV Testing Days

January 9, 2007

Friday marked the launch of a national HIV testing initiative in 34 cities and towns across Morocco. The three-day effort, headed by the Association for the Fight Against AIDS of Morocco (ALCS), aimed to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS and encourage the public to get tested. ALCS offered free HIV tests from mobile testing units, through partner associations and, for the first time, in private health clinics.
