California: Desert AIDS Group Settles on Key Hire

At the Desert AIDS Project in Palm Springs, Arturo J. Hernandez has been named director of education, prevention and testing. He will direct a staff of six educators and outreach workers who present prevention programs at various community sites. Hernandez comes to DAP from the Latino group Bienestar, where he was director of capacity building and technical assistance. DAP assists about 2,200 clients.
