District of Columbia: Norton to Conduct Meetings on HIV/AIDS

Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-D.C.) has announced plans for several community meetings on HIV/AIDS. "A Series of Frank Conversations by Us with Us" will focus on the District groups most affected by the epidemic. The first gathering, which will involve clergy, will take place this Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W. Residents are welcome to attend as observers. Other meetings will be scheduled in 2007, concluding with a citywide town hall event.
