World AIDS Day Symposium, November 27 in NYC

November 7, 2006

In commemoration of World AIDS Day on Dec. 1, the American Foundation for AIDS Research and the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health will conduct a Nov. 27 symposium examining the AIDS epidemic among men who have sex with men and the challenges of HIV prevention for this population. An international panel of HIV treatment, prevention and education experts will participate in the event, which will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Manhattan Theatre Club in New York City. The symposium is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required by Monday, Nov. 20.
