U.S. News University of South Carolina Researchers Land $173 Million in GrantsOctober 31, 2006 On Thursday, the University of South Carolina announced its researchers had received a record-setting $173.3 million in grants in the past year. Included in the total was $7.5 million from the National Institutes of Health to eliminate health disparities in HIV/AIDS and cancer in the state.
