Money for AIDS Making A DifferenceSpring '96 The Los Angeles Commission on HIV Health Services is a body of people from the community who help to determine the level of services and programs available in Los Angeles County through Ryan White CARE Act Funds. We Need YouThere are currently 48 commissioners, 16 of which are people with HIV. Only 14 of these sets are reserved for people with HIV. Of the 48 commissioners now serving, only two are women with HIV.
Our FutureBy acting now, we can ensure that a majority of these open seats will be filled by women and others that actually live with this disease. We are the experts.
