Conferees on the Senate Labor/Health Human Services Committee are meeting this evening at 6:00 p.m. EST to negotiate on the Labor/HHS appropriations bill. Senators Arlen Specter (R-PA), Mark Hatfield (R-OR) and Tom Harkin (D-IA) must be contacted and urged to:
- Support the administrations proposal to add back $119 million to the appropriations bill:
$67 million for the 4 titles in Ryan White $52 million for ADAP
$119 million - Total
- AETC - Restore AETC to a funding level of at least $12 million.

- OAR - Support a consolidated AIDS research appropriation.
