AAHIVM Welcomes Senior DirectorNew Staff Member Will Coordinate Standing Committees, Public-Policy Effort, Strategic Planning, Fundraising, and Vendor Relations
April/May 2001 Jerry Calumn joined the staff of AAHIVM as Senior Director in April. Prior to coming to the Academy Mr. Calumn, who has more than a decade of experience in the field of HIV/AIDS, helped coordinate the Triangle AIDS Leadership Alliance in North Carolina (TALA). He also directed several areas of the AIDS Resource Center in Dallas, including the Nelson-Tebedo Clinic and Prevention and Treatment Education. In addition, Calumn has served as a Treatment Educator for Community Access, a medical communications agency, and Ortho-Biotech.
