AAHIVM Welcomes Senior Director

New Staff Member Will Coordinate Standing Committees, Public-Policy Effort, Strategic Planning, Fundraising, and Vendor Relations

Jerry Calumn joined the staff of AAHIVM as Senior Director in April. Prior to coming to the Academy Mr. Calumn, who has more than a decade of experience in the field of HIV/AIDS, helped coordinate the Triangle AIDS Leadership Alliance in North Carolina (TALA). He also directed several areas of the AIDS Resource Center in Dallas, including the Nelson-Tebedo Clinic and Prevention and Treatment Education. In addition, Calumn has served as a Treatment Educator for Community Access, a medical communications agency, and Ortho-Biotech.
