AAWH was a private national organization in the U.S. dedicated to funneling a broad spectrum of critical national and international health information to Americans at the grassroots level by developing and distributing practical, easy-to-use health education and promotional materials to those community leaders who could most effectively reach U.S. citizens at the local level. They closed in 2001.
