She was in my support group
Fascinating to know
A young woman of color
HIV positive 12 years
She was infected through heterosexual sex
He died
HIV positive and looking for love
She remarried 5 years ago
Gave birth to two sons
One 2, the other 4
Her essence was that of love
Her inspiration was that of hope
About six months
After her second son was born
She became ill and went to the hospital
Misdiagnosed
24 hours later, her optic nerves collapsed
Viral meningitis
She is now blind
Managing her medical care
Raising two children
Loving a Husband
Finding the courage
