On April 19, the AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition asked for support for a proposed "tax incentive to boost private sector research and development on vaccines and microbicides to stop the biggest killing diseases worldwide: HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria . . ."

"If you can only do one thing, call your Representative and your two Senators and ask them to support inclusion of the R&D [research and development] tax credit for vaccines in the Africa trade bill."

You can either call their local office (which is probably listed in your local phone book), or call their office in Washington by dialing 202-224-3121 and asking for them by name. If you do not know their names, you can find them at http://www.house.gov/writerep and http://www.senate.gov.
