Retroviruses Conference Deadlines Start October 2005

If you are going to the 13th Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections, check the deadlines immediately at www.retroconference.org/ (click CROI Schedule and Timelines).

Particularly important are:

• October 26: Community Educator application deadline.

• October 26: International Scholarship application deadline.

• November 25: Community Press application deadline.

• November 30: Preferential registration/housing deadline for authors, faculty.

• December 1: General registration opens for researchers and clinicians (the conference usually fills up and turns people away, so it is important to register early).

• January 2: Late-breaker abstract submission deadline (the main abstract submission deadline was October 14).

• January 5: Deadline for "consumer press" applications (mainstream press, not AIDS press).

• January 5: Registration and housing closes (unless it already closed due to limit of 3,800 registrations).
