My mother
Never knew nothing
About life or the voices in my head
That whirl around like a hornets' nest or
The blackberry colored cloud of despair that tells me to go jump
off
a
cliff
I've survived by forgetting
The nonsense my mother taught me
I've learned those voices are my friends
