You showed me with your love,
how precious life really is.
You showed me with your strength,
how we have to stand up
for what we believe in.

I learned to respect others' sorrows,
because of you.
Through your tears
I learned what pain
was all about.

That's why I'll always be
by your side
through the ups and downs
of life
I'll be by your side.
