In St. Louis on Saturday, the annual AIDS Walk raised at least $140,000 for treatment, counseling and services for people with HIV/AIDS, according to organizers. The event, now in its 14th year, attracted some 3,000 participants, including about 1,000 registered walkers, said Co-chair Michael Mullen. The walk is one of the largest fund-raisers for the AIDS Foundation of St. Louis, which has distributed more than $1.9 million to area organizations.
