Florida: Technical Institute Students, Staff Tested for Tuberculosis

April 30, 2003

Around 250 students and faculty at the Sarasota County Technical Institute in Florida will be tested for TB after a student contracted the disease. The student, whose name was not released, was identified as a Vietnamese male in his 20s. All students and staff who may have come into close contact with student are adults, according to school officials.
