News Briefs Georgia High School TB Investigation ContinuesApril 7, 2003 An investigation of TB at Redan High School continues, DeKalb County, Ga., health officials said Friday. The TB investigation at Redan began in December when DeKalb Board of Health officials learned that a person at the school tested positive for an active form of TB. That person was removed from the school, underwent successful treatment and has since returned to Redan. "We're at the point now we've got the information from the skin testing round, we're trying now to get the assessments of those folks completed," said Dr. Stuart Brown, medical director in the personal health services division of the DeKalb health board. "We'll be recommending isoniazid therapy for everyone once we insure they don't have any evidence of disease," Brown said.
