News Briefs South Africa: Mpumalanga Government, Council of Churches Embark on HIV/AIDS ConferenceApril 9, 2003 The Mpumalanga education department and the council of churches in the Mpumalanga province on Tuesday began a four-day HIV/AIDS awareness conference. The gathering aims to put into action South Africa's national HIV/AIDS strategy of engaging community organizations to help fight the pandemic.
