World AIDS Day TV Highlights

December 1, 2003

Monday at 8 p.m., Discovery Health Channel will air "AIDS Orphans: Lost Childhood." To document the lives of children who have lost or are losing their parents to AIDS, the program focuses on two families left to survive in poor conditions with almost no food. Monday at 9 p.m., Nickelodeon will broadcast a report by journalist Linda Ellerbee, who traveled to South Africa to document AIDS' effects on children and how the nation is fighting the epidemic. Times are U.S. Eastern Standard; check local listings.
