News Briefs New York: Oldham Takes Over Mayor's AIDS OfficeFebruary 18, 2003 Frank Oldham Jr. has taken over the post of citywide coordinator of AIDS policy for New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Oldham has served as head of Horizons Community Services, managing director at Los Angeles' Gay and Lesbian Center, assistant commissioner on HIV/AIDS at Chicago's Department of Public Health, and chief of Washington, D.C.'s HIV/AIDS agency. He has also worked at Gay Men's Health Crisis. Oldham said his status as an HIV-positive black man would bring a unique and urgent perspective to his job.
