United Nations Approves Tajikistan's AIDS Prevention Project

The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria has approved Tajikistan's application to implement a $2.4 million project to fight HIV incidence in the country, according to an official with the UN Development Program. Official data register only 75 HIV cases in Tajikistan, but experts believe the spread of drug addiction may lead to an increase in cases.Adapted from:
