January 27, 2003

Dr. David Reznik, chief of dental services for Atlanta-based Grady Health Services Oral Infectious Disease Program, has been selected to serve on the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS, federal officials said Friday. The council provides President Bush and Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson with recommendations for HIV/AIDS-related programs and policies. Reznik, an expert in oral health care for people with HIV, is one of seven new council members. They will join 27 members who currently serve on the council. Reznik is also a member of the Ryan White Planning Council of Metropolitan Atlanta.
