AIDS Patient Meeting to Return to Denver

June 25, 2003

Twenty years ago, the National Association of People With AIDS was formed in Denver. On Aug. 15-17, the organization returns to Denver for its sixth annual conference, whose theme is "Staying Alive: Two Decades of Positive Leadership." The local host committee for the event includes the Empowerment Program, the Colorado AIDS Project and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The Denver Marriott Tech Center is the site of the conference. Registration is $275; scholarships are available. For information, telephone 303-722-3083 or visit www.napwa.org.
