AIDS Patient Meeting to Return to DenverJune 25, 2003 Twenty years ago, the National Association of People With AIDS was formed in Denver. On Aug. 15-17, the organization returns to Denver for its sixth annual conference, whose theme is "Staying Alive: Two Decades of Positive Leadership." The local host committee for the event includes the Empowerment Program, the Colorado AIDS Project and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
