News Briefs District of Columbia: Cardozo Student Has TBMarch 19, 2003 A 16-year-old student at Cardozo Senior High School in the District of Columbia has tested positive for TB, and plans are underway to test students and staff who came in contact with her, officials said. According to a school spokesperson, letters went out to parents Thursday notifying them of the girl's illness, and testing permission slips were sent to those in contact with her. The student, whose name was not released, is currently being treated at Children's Hospital. D.C. Health Department officials said the girl recently arrived from another country.
