News Briefs Atlanta Southside Notes: HIV OutreachMarch 6, 2003 The Metro Atlanta HIV Health Services Planning Council is sponsoring its African-American Outreach Initiative Educational Forum for the fourth consecutive year. Designed to reach HIV-positive blacks, the forum helps individuals access holistic treatment services, increase utilization of health care, and promote medical adherence by providing information on available programs, services and other resources. The event is free and will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Holiday Inn in downtown Decatur, Ga. Topics being offered will include: insurance, housing, nutrition, treatment and legal issues.
