March 7, 2003

A 12-person motorcycle team organized by the Uganda Biker Association has set off for a two-week charity fundraising ride through east Africa to benefit HIV/AIDS orphans. The trip, "Wild Track 2003," is held to cover the year's $7,800 school fees for 60 orphans at the Mbuya Reach Out Parish HIV/AIDS Foundation. The event, which begins from southern Uganda to Mwanza, the northern city of Tanzania, will continue through Dar es Salaam, the capital of Tanzania, Mombasa and Nairobi of Kenya, before returning to Kampala.
