Illinois: HIV-Positive Get Housing Aid

April 9, 2004

On Wednesday, Gov. Rod Blagojevich released almost $400,000 in federal grants to help provide housing assistance to HIV-positive Chicago residents. The one-time grants may be used to repair existing facilities or for rent assistance. About $500,000 was allocated throughout Illinois.
