Kentucky: Lawmakers Consider Legislation on Final Day for Bill Passage

Kentucky's Capitol was busy Monday as the General Assembly worked to determine what bills it would pass on the final day scheduled for passing legislation this session. Among other actions, the House passed HB 82, a bill that would require doctors and health-care agencies to track AIDS patients by name rather than by an identifying code. It would be a misdemeanor for someone to disclose the name of a person who has tested positive for HIV.
