U.S. News HIV Diagnostics: SAMHSA to Purchase $4 Million of OraQuick Rapid HIV Antibody TestsSeptember 3, 2004 OraSure Technologies Inc. has announced that the US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration will invest $4 million in purchasing its OraQuick Rapid HIV Antibody Tests and confirmatory test services. SAMHSA will deploy these to more than 22,000 substance abuse treatment and prevention sites across the nation. The company expects to begin supplying the products in the fourth quarter of this year and complete shipment by the end of 2005.
