News Flash

On July 1, as BETA went to press, Pfizer announced that it would stop clinical development of capravirine. Recent research showed that this experimental NNRTI did not offer a significant improvement over existing treatments, and that use of capravirine would likely be hampered by interactions with other anti-HIV therapies.
