Authorities in Voronezh say they have identified all 208 people who received a blood product infected with HIV. Medics have obtained samples for HIV testing from 72 people, and the remainder will be tested shortly, said Mikhail Chubirko, the region's chief sanitary physician. During the past six months, the 208 people received transfusions of albumin, a protein product derived from the blood of multiple donors, one of whom proved to be HIV-positive.
