Nebraska Receives $1.7 Million for AIDS Programs

On Wednesday, Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.) announced that the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services has been awarded a $1.7 million grant to provide support services for people with HIV/AIDS. The grant -- issued by the US Department of Health and Human Services under the Ryan White Title II Grant Program -- will be used to provide health care, emergency assistance for housing, utilities, health insurance coverage, HIV medications and case management assistance.
