International News UK's Prince Harry Launches Lesotho AIDS CharityApril 28, 2006 Britain's Prince Harry has announced the launching of his own charity to help Lesotho AIDS orphans. He dedicated the effort to the memory of his late mother, Princess Diana. Harry co-founded the Sentebale charity with Lesotho's Prince Seeiso, whose own mother, Queen Mamohato, died in 2003. "Sentebale does mean 'Forget me not' and it's a way that both me and Prince Seeiso can relate to our mothers who were both in sort of the same jobs working with orphaned children," Harry said. "This particular charity, rather than aiming directly at AIDS itself, it's about the knock-on effect on the children, so we can actually help the kids," he continued. Friday's announcement came after Harry's fourth trip to the tiny African kingdom, where up to one-third of the population is believed to be infected with HIV.
