Tennessee: Mobile Syphilis Testing Starts at 16 Sites Today

January 12, 2006

Today through Monday, free syphilis testing will be offered at 16 Memphis locations. The city, which has historically had high rates of the STD, ranked 10th among 63 metro areas in US syphilis statistics released in November. A coalition of local groups organized the testing, which is being funded by a state Health Department grant.
