U.S. News Colorado: Art for AIDS Auction a Fundraising MasterpieceJuly 12, 2006 Last month's 19th annual Art for AIDS Fine and Decorative Art Auction in Denver attracted more than 650 guests and took in $105,000. Among the more than 350 pieces offered was a lithograph signed by Pablo Picasso. Since its inception in 1986, the event has raised almost $1.4 million for the Colorado AIDS Project, which serves more than 1,800 clients with HIV/AIDS.
