International News Celera Hepatitis C Test Gets European OKJuly 26, 2006 A new test that maps the genetic structure of the hepatitis C virus has received European approval, biopharmaceutical and genetic technology company Celera Genomics Group said on Tuesday. The HCV Genotype Assay was created for use with the ABI Prism 7000, an automated system made by Applied Biosystems. The tests will be sold through Celera's partner Abbott Laboratories.
