Resource: Life Begins

Life Begins is a new interactive CD-ROM that teaches human reproduction from conception to birth. It contains over 40 minutes of footage from the Academy Award nominated Journey Into Life including 4 births and fetal development at 28 days and five, eight, 12, 16, 18, and 24 weeks. The program also contains numerous slides, photographs, anatomical illustrations, and interactive graphs. The pregnancy section of the CD-ROM examines the risk of STDs, tobacco, alcohol, and drugs on the fetus, and follows nine months of fetal development.
