HIV Testing Day Events Planned in South Carolina

June 20, 2006

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) will host more than a dozen events across the state in conjunction with National HIV Testing Day on June 27. Local health departments and other community-based groups will offer free or low-cost HIV testing using OraSure tests, a no-needle testing method. For more information about local events and locations, telephone DHEC's AIDS/STD Hotline at 800-322-AIDS (800-322-2437).
