was developed by a coalition of organizations including the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Association of School Administrators to help school deal appropriately with sexual orientation booklet repudiates specifically looks at "reparative therapy," which refers to psychotherapy designed to eliminate people's sexual desire for members of their own gender, and "transformational ministry," which refers to the use of religion to eliminate those desires.
