U.S. News North Carolina: AIDS Walk 2006 in CharlotteMay 4, 2006 Saturday will mark the 10th annual AIDS Walk in Charlotte. The event will start at the Gateway Village Atrium on West Trade Street, across from Johnson & Wales University. Registration begins at 8 a.m., with music and guest speakers at 9 a.m. There is no registration fee for the two-mile walk, though walkers are encouraged to raise $100 or more for AIDS programs.
