House Approves $200 Million for International Programs to Fight AIDS

August 1, 2002

The House of Representatives has approved the conference report on a bill (HR 4775) appropriating $28.9 billion in additional fiscal 2002 funding for combating terrorism and other purposes. The bill provides $200 million for international programs to fight AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis.
