Ontario, Canada: Sexual Health Clinic Opens

August 9, 2002

A new sexual health clinic that opened Thursday in Essex, Ontario, will provide anonymous HIV testing and birth control devices at low costs, among other services. The clinic, located in the Essex County Civic Center at 360 Fairview Ave. W, will be open Thursdays only for a trial period, but operating hours could be extended as demand increases. Free condoms, hepatitis B immunization and confidential pregnancy testing and counseling are also available. Appointments are required.
