Thousands Petition to Have AIDS-Awareness Classes in Schools

In Singapore, thousands of residents have petitioned to have AIDS awareness education put into secondary-school programs. According to a report in the Sunday Times, 50,000 signatures were on the petition as it was presented to Parliament member Claire Chiang on Saturday. The petition follows a national plan to teach teenagers in the country about sex and sexuality.
