Volunteers Needed for Hepatitis C/HIV Co-Infection Study at Harborview Medical CenterApril 20, 2001 Harboview Medical Center, division of gastroenterology, is conducting a clinical study of investigational medications for people living with hepatitis C and HIV co-infection. The study is a randomized, double-blinded trial of pegylated interferon versus standard interferon, with ribavirin for hepatitis C. All study medications, laboratory tests and exams are free. No additional compensation is provided. Interested individuals who are 18 years of age or older, and who have both hepatitis C and HIV are encouraged to call the study coordinator at (206) 731-3655.
