Bridgeport Hospital Offers TB Tests Following Disclosure of Ex-Employee's Illness

June 18, 2001

Patients at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, Conn. between Feb. 6 and June 8 are being advised that a former temporary employee is being treated for TB. The employee, who was not identified, was a patient transporter. Former patients who are concerned about possible exposure may request a TB test, said hospital spokesperson John Cappiello.
