Jubilee USA, AIDS Activists and Labor Leaders March on New York City to Demand Billions for AIDS Treatment for DyingJune 20, 2001 A coalition of religious groups, AIDS activists, African organizations, students, human rights groups and anti-debt activists demanding more resources for the global fight against HIV/AIDS will demonstrate this Saturday in New York prior to the UN special session on the pandemic. Participants will assemble at 11 a.m. in Washington Square Park and will march to the rally site at Bryant Park.
