Florida: Some Line Items Vetoed From the Budget by Gov. Jeb Bush

June 6, 2002

Florida Gov. Jeb Bush cut $110 million from the state budget and signed into law a $50 billion spending plan for the coming year. Among other line items Bush vetoed from the budget, he cut methadone outpatient treatment, HIV/AIDS and hepatitis prevention services in Broward and Palm Beach counties, totaling $1 million.
