HIV/AIDS Grant Awarded to Metro Atlanta
March 11, 2002 Metro Atlanta received a federal grant of almost $17.6 million to provide health care and support services for people with HIV/AIDS who lack full health insurance. The US Department of Health and Human Services grant is part of a $597 million program for 51 metro areas.
