Asimov Revelation

March 13, 2002

In his posthumously published autobiography, science fiction author Isaac Asimov revealed he had AIDS when he died ten years ago at age 72. Asimov writes in "It's Been a Good Life" that he contracted the disease from tainted blood during a 1983 heart bypass operation. The book comes out later this month.
