North Carolina: Free HIV/AIDS Program March 20

March 13, 2002

The sixth annual HIV/AIDS Treatment Update will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. March 20 at the Durham Marriott at the Civic Center in Durham, N.C. John Barlett of Duke University Medical Center and Joseph Eron of UNC will review recent advances in HIV/AIDS treatment and research. Event sponsors are the community advisory boards of the Duke AIDS Research and Treatment Center, the UNC Center for AIDS Research and the Piedmont HIV Health Care Consortium. Simultaneous Spanish and American Sign Language translation will be provided. The update is free and open to the public, and transportation assistance may be available.
